A Personal Payment, also known as Pay a Friend within the Mobile App, allows you to send or receive funds electronically from an individual whose account you do not own. This option is available using Online Account Access and the Mobile App. This transfer must be completed between two U.S. financial institutions.
First you must add a contact. You will be asked to list the name and phone number or email address for the individual you wish to send and/or receive funds from. Setting up a contact is effective immediately. When sending or requesting funds you will send the other individual a text message or email asking them to confirm the transaction. The individual will enter their account information to complete the transaction. You will not see or have access to the other individual’s account information and they will not be able to see or access your information. Listed below are the terms for such transfers:
